The first half explores simple, practical techniques you can use during busy days or before sleep; the second half is a deeply restful Yoga Nidra (guided relaxation).

All practices can be done seated, with options and adaptations. Final bookings 19/02/26.

This workshop is for anyone interested in understanding their body more deeply and supporting the health of the deep muscles of the abdomen and pelvic floor.

During the session, you’ll learn what these muscles look like, where they are located, and how to care for them using simple yet effective exercises. The approach is gentle, informative, and practical, with time to explore how the movements feel in your own body.

The session includes a mix of clear explanation, visual illustrations, and guided practice. You’ll go home with a short sequence to support regular practice, along with follow-up videos to help you continue at home.

Please note: the venue is up a flight of stairs.

Over four monthly sessions, starting in March 2026, we will explore how body, breath and voice can support:

• Vocal confidence in ceremony and ritual
• Nervous system flexibility and grounding
• Energy awareness and devotional practice
• Practical tools for stress, rumination and tension in daily life

Each session will include:

  • Gentle, seated yoga-based movement (with modifications available)

  • Breath practices to regulate and energise

  • Vocal toning, chanting and sacred song

  • Exploration of the chakras as lived, embodied experience

  • Simple, accessible techniques to take into everyday life

This is not about performance. It is not about singing “well.” It is about resonance, presence and reclaiming your voice as a tool for wellbeing and ritual connection.

The music we’ll work with has been written specifically for this series and contributes to the new Temple songbook currently in development.

All bodies and all levels of singing experience are welcome.

You’re very welcome to join us for a single session or come along for the full four months and let the work build gently over time.
