How to find us…
Our regular classes and workshops are held in the lovely surroundings of Hillsborough Park, Shefield, UK
We are fortunate to work with AgeUK Sheffield who run and maintain the Pavilion and Bradbury Maker’s Shed, meaning that every session you attend also provides funds for their much-needed services in our area.
Follow the link below for more information about Gathering Ground/AgeUK Sheffield.
Parking
There are two pay-as-you-go car parks at the park. The largest is on Parkside Road (please note this is closed on match days) and on Hawksley Avenue (accessed via Middlewood Road. There are Council car parks so Blue Badge’s can be used for free parking (please follow Blue Badge guidelines and check signage).
On street parking is available. Please check signs for time and permit restrictions.
Photo route guide
For those of us who prefer to see where we are going and know what to expect, here are some photos taken of the entrance to the park and walled garden on Middlewood Road, routes to both venues, entrances and into the rooms themselves.
Both routes and venues are wheelchair accessible and have disabled toilets.
You can access The Maker’s Shed via the main park entrance, or, if the walled garden is open, thought the walled garden entrance a little further up Middlewood Road. Walled garden opening times are displayed on the gate.
Routes shown are from the Middlewood Road park entrances. Paths turn left for the pavilion and right towards to walled garden, Maker’s Shed and the Depot Bakery café.
